The Rollie and Angie Challenge




Another challenge! From Maureen again, here in her own words.

I challenge all you writers out there who have resisted having Rollie and Angie become romantically involved with each other to write an F/X fanfic where they do.  Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking now. You're thinking that you can pull a fast one.  Wrong!  Here are the rules: No cheating and no sneaky tricks are allowed, like, for instance, having it turn out to be just a dream.  It has to be the real thing, it has to really happen, and it has to be the real Rollie Tyler and Angie Ramirez, the characters who were in the series.  You can't have them just think about having a romantic relationship with each other, then have it not happen after all.  You also can't have them begin having that kind of relationship, then have it end before the fic is over.  It has to actually happen, and it has to still be going on when the story ends.  Oh yeah, and no having them discover their love just before, or after, one or both of them die--unless it turns out that they don't die after all, that is.  It also can't happen when they're so old that they're in danger dying of old age before they make it to the second date. *bg*  If you want to make it an AU story, that's fine with me.  If you want to make it a comedy, that's fine too.  All I want is to see Rollie and Angie in love WITH EACH OTHER!  Oh, one more thing, writing an extremely short fanfic with only a few words will be considered copping out. *g*  In other words, it has to be significantly longer than this challenge announcement and you can't make the fic longer by repeating the same words over and over again.

So, do you have the courage?  Do you have the strength to go against your nature, or beliefs, or whatever and meet my challenge without cheating?  I dare ya!  I dare ya! *vwg*
