Part 1
 
Location : a childern park.

Mira is sitting on a bench with a sunglasses on her face with her legs crossed ,  eating a sandwich.
She looks at the kids as they are playing and smiles to herself.
A tall blonde man is approching her.
He sits next to Mira who is not giving him a look and just looking at the kids.
"Didnt anyone tell you this sandwiches can kill you?" The man says.
"Yeah , but I`ll take my chances..." She takes another bite in the sandwitch and continues , "Give me good news Steve..."
"You know , I`m taking a big risk giving you this information , I want something out of this deal..." The blonde man says.
"Sure , but I cant make you a deal unless you tell me when they are meeting and where." Mira replies and still not looking at
the man.
"Ok Ok... They are meating today at 1 AM at the new constraction site the south part."
"Are you gonna be there?" Mira asks.
"No , but remember our deal. You get him and I walk free after that..."
"Steve , Please ... You gotta be there ,  I can put a small microphone on you and I`ll record everything he says..."
"No Mira, its too dangerous. He is already got me short, I barely got here , his men will probably check everyone for wiring..."
"But I need prooves , solid prooves..." Mira says in angre.
"Look , All I could do is giving you the time and the place and I cant..."
"Wait", she stops him , "I have a friend in the movie bussines , maybe he will be able to help me get them on the camera ..."
"Do what you have to do , I`m out of here ... and dont forget : You get him and I walk free..."
"Sure , dont worry ... I see what I can do ... Now get out of here Steve !"
"You are one aggressive woman , Sanchez." he says as he gets up of the bench.
"If you dont get of here now I`ll show you how aggressive I can be!"
"Ok , bye and dont forget our deal..." He starts walking away from the bench.
"Hey Steve ! " , Mira yells.
Steve stops and turns around.
"Thanks..." Mira says and smiles.
Steve smiles back , turns around and continues walking.
Mira is looking at the kids.
"I got you now Joe..." Mira says to herself  "I got you now..."
She takes another bite of her sandwitch and gets up.

Part 2

Location : Rollie`s set.

"Ok Ange , bring me the small alien doll over there." Rollie says and pointing at 7 feet alien doll.
"WHAT !?! You call this small ?!!?" Angie says , suprised.
"Must I do everything here?" Rollie says and walk towards the doll.
"Sure , You try to lift this..." Angie says.
Rollie is picking up the doll with no problems. He is giving an angry look to Angie.
Angie crosses her hands.
"I knew that its light weight , I wanted to test ya..." She says in a funny tone.
"TEST ME?!!? I show you test!!" Rollie says and throws the alien doll at Angie.
"What the..!!" Angie says.
BOOM!
The alien doll hits Angie and pushes her back a little and she falls...
"Rollie , I`m gonna kill you!"
"What ?" Rollie says in a cinic voice "It was just a test. Now get the doll here..."
Angie picks up the doll and starts moving it.
"Man , helpers today..." Rollie says to himself.
Just then Mira is enetring the set.
"Rollie , are you busy?"
"Ahh, not now... What , do you need some help Mira ? "
Angie is approching there.
"Hi Angie ..." Mira says.
"Hi Mira... Do you have allot to talk with Rollie?  because I wanna to kill him..."
Mira laughes and says "No..."
"Rollie , your end is near..." Angie says.
"Just give me a few days to live Angie... Mira needs help here. What is it Mira?"
"Rollie I need your help tonight on a case I`m working on... I need you to get on your video camera a meeting ..."
"A meeting?" Rollie says with a big question mark on his face.
"Someone , very important , will be there and I need you to get on your camera what he is saying..."
"Who`s this man?" Angie asks.
"I cant give you the information now ... can you help me?"
"Sorry Mira , Me and Angie need to stay here all night... we are shooting the movie "Duke Nukem" and we`ll be busy all
night..."
"DANM ! Rollie , Isnt there something you can do?"
Rollie is thinking.
Angie is thinking.
"Look..." Rollie says "I can loan you one of my cameras , Infact I have one in the van... Angie can you get it please?"
"Sure" She starts walking to the FX van.
"So what is it Mira? is it a big case?" Rollie asks Mira.
"Bigger , Rollie...You will read it tommorow or after tommorow in the newspapers." Mira says.
"By the way , did Gatti come back from his vaction?" Rollie asks.
"He will get home tonight... I heard he and his wife had a wonderful time..."
Angie is comming with a video camera.
"Here it is , take care of it..." Angie says.
Mira ia taking the camera.
"Good luck with your case , Mira..." Rollie says.
"Yeah , and be careful..." Angie says.
"Thanks guys , you are great... talk to you tommorow..." Mira says.
She turns around and starts walking towards her car.
"Bye" Angie says.
"Oh Rollie ... now I`m gonna ki..." Angie says in a cinic voice and she turns around. Rollie is not there.
She is looking around and she sees Rollie is running away with a big laugh.
"GET BACK HERE ROLLIE !" Angie yells and runs after him.

Part 3

Location : the new constraction site.

Night , 1 AM.
Mira is hiding behind some boxes and prepering the camera.
She is waiting.
"GOD , where are they ? if that Steve gave me the wrong information I`m gonna..."
Just then she sees a big black car is comming near the constraction site.
It stops and 2 men are getting out of the car..
Each one of them is carrying an uzi and they dressed with black suits.
One of them is opening the back door of the car.
A man is getting out of the car. He is wearing a gray suit and a hat and he is carrying a suitcase.
Mira points the camera at them and starts recording.
Then Mira hears another car approching. not a car , but something big.
She looks and sees a big truck parking near the black car.
2 men are comming out of the truck.
Mira is recording them too. She does zoom on those 2 men.
"Oh my god!" She`s thinking to herself  "Its the Jones brothers! The best murders for hire ... what are they doing here?"
The Jones brothers approche the man with the suit.
"Did you bring us the money?" One of the brothers asks.
"Its all here... You do the killing right, no traces!"
"We are the best in the buissens , dont worry... so who we need to kill?"
"Come on Joe!" , Mira says to herself while recording the meeting , "Come out of the shadows so the camera wil get you nice..."
"You need to kill the mayor... when he is dead I`ll be the mayor and you`ll get much , much more..."
" So Joe , you cant wait that the voters will choose you for mayor ha? " , Mira says to herself.
He is giving the suitcase to the Jones brothers.
They are opening the suitcase. After a while one of them is saying "Hey man its only half! we agreed on 1 million dollars!"
"Like I said , you`ll get more when you kill the mayor and I`ll be the mayor."
"When do you want him dead?"
"In 2 days."
At that point Joe ( the man in the gray suit ) start walking back to the car with his 2 body guards and a spot of light is hitting him.
Mira is quick zooming to his face... " Say hello to the camera Joe , you busted !"  Mira smilles.
Mira gets up carefully. apperantly not too carefully. She knocks one of the boxes.
The box falls down and makes a noise.
"Whats that?" Joe asks.
He is looking at boxes.
One of the bodyguards uses his flashlight and pointing it to Mira.
Joe sees Mira and he reconize her. He also sees the video camera.
"ITS THE DETECTIVE ! SHOOT HER!" Joe yells.
The 2 body guards start firing at Mira with thier uzis.
Mira is running away as the bullets are flying over her head.
The 2 men are running after her and firing on her.
She managed to get to her car. She enters quick and drives away.
The bodyguards firing on the car but they miss.
Joe is running towards them.
The Jones brothers already drove away with their truck.
"THAT WOMAN GOT US ON TAPE ! IF THAT TAPE WILL GET ON THE NEWS I`M FINISHED ! I WANT HER DEAD ! YOU HERE ME ? DEAD !"
"Dont worry", says on of the body guards "I know someone who will deal with her... "
"Max , Give me your cellphone..." The other bodyguard takes out his cellphone and gives it to him.
He dails a number.
"Yo Larry , its Johnny... yeah... I know its late ... listen I need a favor..."
 
Part 4

Location : Mira`s police station (The next day).

Mira is entering the police station with a big smile on her face.
"Hi guys" , she says.
"Well  Well" , says officer Dan , "Looks like someone got up on the right side of the bed... Rough night Sanchez?" He says and
smiles.
"Oh , shut up Dan... did Francis got here yet?"
"No , he should be here any minute now..."
"Ok , when he gets here send him to my office , I have great news for him on a case I worked on..."
"No problem..."
Mira is enetring her office , closing the door behind her.
A man in a suit is enetring the police station. He is looking around.
He sees Dan and asks him "Is officer Sanchez here?"
"Who are you?" Dan asks.
"I`m Ed Malden , I work for the times newspaper. I`m working on a story and I need to ask officer Sanchez a few questions and..."
That moment Gatti walks in.
"GATTI !" Dan yells "You old dog... How was your vaction?"
"Exuse me..." Says Ed.
"Oh  , Sorry ..." Says Dan.
Ed is taking out an ID and gives it to Dan.
Dan is looking at the ID.
"Sure Ed , her office is right there..." Pointing to Mira`s office.
Ed is walking towards the office.
"So Gatti , did you have a good time? did Sara had a good time?" Dan says and smiles.
"Man , It was a blast. We were at ..." Gatti says and starts to talk about his vaction.

Ed is entering the office and closing the door.
Mira is sitting there , reading a file and holding a coffee in her hands.
"Detective Sanchez?" He asks.
"Yeah... Who are you?"
"I`m Ed Malden, I work for the times newspaper. Can I ask you a few questions?"
He throws his ID on her desk.
"Sure wait a second..."
She puts her coffee on her table.
"I`ll just return the file to the drawer..." She says.
"No problem, I`ll just take out my recorder." and he reachs his hand to his suit pocket.
He draws a gun with a silencer.
Mira is returning the file to the drawer.
"So what is the story about?" She says while returning the file to the drawer not looking at Ed.
"Your funeral."
"WHAT?" She turns to Ed.
Ed shoots at Mira`s chest a few times. She falls down to the floor with blood on her shirt.
"Thanks for the story." Ed says and laughes.
He starts searching her office quick...
"DANM ! its not here!"

Meanwhile outside the office.
"And then we got home..." Gatti says to Dan.
"Sounds like heaven there. Maybe I`ll take my wife there... Oh by the way Mira wanted to see you in her office." Dan says.
"What about?" Gatti asks.
"I dont know. She said she has great news about a case she worked on... But wait until the reporter gets out."
Just then Ed comes out.
"Great timing..." Gatti says in a smile and starts walking towards the office.
"Did you get you want?" Dan asks Ed.
"No , She a tough woman." Says Ed and starts walking out of the police station.
 "You can say that again." Dan says.

Gatti is openning the door of  Mira`s office.
"Mira you wanted to... "
He sees Mira on the floor. Blood is all over the floor.
"OH MY GOD ! MIRA !! CALL AN AMBULANCE !!" Gatti yells.
"STOP THAT REPORTER !!!" he yells after, pulls out his gun and start running after Ed.
Ed hears the he was discoverd and starts running.
"WHAT HAPP..." says Dan and starts running after Gatti.
Gatti and Dan run after Ed outside the police station.
Then a big blue van comes and stops near Ed. The rear doors of van are opend and a man wearing a ski mask and a raincoat jumps out. He is holding 2 uzi`s and starts firing on Gatti and Dan.
Gatti and Dan jump behind a police car as the bullets hit the police car and the windows.
They starts firing at the man with thier guns.
Ed jumps inside the van and a few seconds later the man with the ski mask jumps too.
He closes the door.
"GO GO GO!!" he yells.
The van drives away.
"DANM!!" Gatti yells.
"What the hell... WHO IS THAT REPORTER ?" Dan yells to Gatti.
"HE SHOT MIRA!! WHERE IS THAT DANM AMBULANCE ?!!?" yells Gatti and runs towards the police station.
Just then the ambulance comes.

Part 5

Location : Inside the big blue van.

The man who fired at Gatti and Dan takes off his mask.
Its Johnny.
"Did you shoot her , Larry?"
"Yeah ...Man , that was too easy ... A reporter ... they bought it..." Larry says and laughes.
"Are you sure she`s dead?"
"Well I think..." Larry  says "I shot her 3 times in the chest ..."
"YOU THINK , YOU THINK !!!?!?! ARE YOU SOME KIND OF AN IDIOT ? " he slaps Larry on his forehead.
"THERE IS NO PLACE TO THINK HERE ! WHY DIDNT YOU CHECK HER PULSE ?"
"I... I... didnt have time , you told me to search for the video tape." Larry says , scared.
"Well , did you find it ?" Johnny says in a calmer voice.
"No it wasn`t there."
"DANM ! Sanchez probably hid it in other place... Ok Larry , you disappere for now , GOT IT?"
"Yeah , Yeah..." Larry says.
"Dont 'yeah yeah' me , just do it ! And for your sake , SHE BETTER BE DEAD!"

Part 6

Location : Rollie`s set ( half  an hour later ).

"CUT!! PRINT !! OK GUYS , WE FINISHED FOR TODAY !" The director yells.
He comes near Rollie.
"Nice work Rollie. Tommorow we`ll make the plans for the next scene. Go home and get some sleep ..." The director says and goes away.
Rollie is drinking coffee from a paper cup.
"I`m glad that`s over." He says and rubs his eyes.
"Ange , great job." Rollie says in the small Mic. Angie is in the FX van.
"Thanks Rollie , are we done here?"
"Yeap , get out of the van and lets load the stuff back on it. Man , I need some sleep ... I hate to work all night."
"Yeah me too." she gets out of  the van.
Gatti comes near the set with his car and stops.
He is getting out of the car.
Rollie spots him.
"GATTI ! Man , do I glad to see you mate... how was your vaction ?"
Gatti comes to Rollie. Looking in Rollie`s face with a sad look.
"What Gatti? Something happend?"
"Mira..." Gatti says.
"What about Mira? Oh, she said to me she`s working on a case and she took my ..."
"Someone shot her, Rollie..."
The coffee falls from Rollies hand.
"SOMEONE WHAT?!!?" Rollie is shocked.
"WHO IS IT?!?!"
"We dont know yet. We checking it now..."
"IS SHE...?"
"No ... I  mean she`s in the hospital now in surgein... the doctor think she`s not gonna make it." Gatti says , almost cries.
"BUT HOW , WHO?!?! I... I...!!"
"Sorry Rollie. I ... I just wanted you to know ... "
He leaves Rollie with his mouth open.
Angie is comming near.
"Hey Gatti!" She yells.
Gatti turns to her. He looks at her for a few seconds and then enters his car and drives away.
"Man , what`s got into him?" She says to herself and then turns to Rollie.
"Rollie are you gonna help me with those bo...".
Rollie turns around to her. His mouth is still open...
"Rollie , are you ok?" .
"Mira is..." He says and stops.
"Mira is what?" Angie says , dosent know what`s going on.
"She`s in the hospital ... someone shot her." Rollie says slow.
"Oh my god!" , She puts her hand on her mouth , Shocked ,  "What happend? Is she ok?" .
"I ... I dont know...Gatti said she`s probably not gonna make it and ..."
"No No ! DONT YOU SAY IT ROLLIE !" Angie says and runs away.
"ANGIE ! ANGIE ! PLEASE..." Rollie yells and runs after her.

Part 7

Location : The hospital ( Mira`s room ) , a few hours later...

Angie is looking at the heart monitor.
"Beep...Beep...Beep" , She hears the monitor.
Rollie is standing next to her , looking at Mira.
"I`m glad she got off the surgery." Rollie says.
"The doctor said that the next 24 hours will be critical." Angie says.
"I know she`s gonna make it Ange. She`s a tough woman." Rollie says , putting his hand on Angie shoulder.
"Who did this , Rollie?" Angie asks Rollie but she`s looking at Mira.
"I dont know Ange , Gatti should have the answer , they are checking it ..." Rollie answers.
"Yeah , I hope they will get..."
Just then Angie hears "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....."
She and Rollie look at the monitor.
It shows straight line.
"OH MY GOD!!! NO !! MIRA , DONT DO THIS TO US..." Angie yells.
Rollie runs to the hall and yells "DOCTOR!!  I NEED DOCTOR HERE , NOW!!!!"
He runs back to the room.
Angie grabs Mira and  yells "YOU WAKE UP NOW ! YOU WAKE UP NOW !! DO YOU HERE ME ? PLEASE MIRA...PLEASE!"
Rollie grabs Angie back just as the doctors get in the room.
Angie tries to run to Mira. Rollie is holding her hard.
"Angie , please , there`s nothing you can do ... leave it to the doctors ..."
"NO NO! YOU WRONG ROLLIE , PLEASE!"
"ANGIE ..."
The doctors get Mira out the room.
Angie managed to break Rollie`s grab and she runs after the doctors.
Rollie runs after her.
"ANGIE... ANGIE!".
The doctors take Mira to other room where Angie stops and looking trough the door windows.
Rollie gets to Angie and stops.
She turns to Rollie.
Angie hugs Rollie hard with tears all over her face.
Rollie puts his hand on Angie`s head.
"Rollie , if she`s gonna die I`m..."
"Shhh.. Ange , dont talk like that... She`s gonna be ok ... We gotta be strong for her..." Rollie says in a calm voice...
"We gotta catch who the guy who did this to her..."  Angie says.
Rollie is not answering.
Just then Gatti comes.
"I just heard Rollie. I..."
Rollie is looking at him with the 'do you have news?' look..
"I have good news. We found the guy who shot Mira."
Angie looks at Gatti.
"WHERE IS HE? I`M GONNA..."
"Calm down Ange. Is he in the police station?" Rollie asks.
"No , I just got an address of where he is."
"Lets take the FX van."

Part 8

Location : in the FX van.

"Ok Angie , you stay here, Me and Gatti gonna get this guy." Rollie says.
"No I wanna come too!" Angie says to Rollie.
"Angie... You stay here and monitor this place , he might try to run away." Gatti says.
"Ok ..." Angie says in a desperate voice "Bluey Bluey , here boy..."
"Waf Waf" , Bluey barks and comes near Angie.
"Good boy Bluey" Angie says.
"Good idea Ange. Bluey, you monitor the street ... ok?" Rollie says.
"Waf" Bluey says.
"That`s a good boy..." Rollie says and take him.
"Ok Ange , each of us has mic on him so will be in contect." Rollie says.
"Got it..." Angie says.
"Are you ready Rollie , I dont stay here all day." Gatti says.
They get out of the van. Rollie puts bluey down and tells him to monitor the streets and watch out of cars.
Angie is at the back of the van looking at the monitor.
Bluey is monitoring with his camera on Rollie and Gatti.
She sees Rollie and Gatti in the monitor.
"Got you covered guys." She says.
"Ok Ange. Lets do it Gatti." Rollie says.
Gatti and Rollie walk to the door. Gatti pulls out his gun.
"Rollie , maybe you should get back to the van. You dont have a gun and this could be ugly." Gatti says.
"Gatti , I wanna catch this guy."
"But Rollie , if Vanduran will hear that I let a citizen in ..." Gatti says.
"Gatti, I wont tell if you wont tell." Rollie says and smiles.
"I cant belive I`m doing it...just stay alive ... please !" Gatti says not to happy about it.
"HEY! WILL YOU STOP TALKING AND GET THIS GUY!" Angie yells in the small mic.
"You cant argue with that Gatti." Rollie says.
They walk to the front door. The front door is open.
"Stay behind me Rollie..." Gatti says and they enter the house.
Angie is looking at the monitor.
She sees something near the house but its not clear.
"Bluey , turn left a little please..." Angie says.
Bluey turns left and Angie now sees it clear. Its a big blue van. She also sees 2 men with raincoats dragging a man into it.
"What the hell..." She says.
"Rollie , Gatti ... I think someone got the man who shot Mira."
"Who?" Gatti asks.
"I dont know but they drive in a big blue van."
"Big blue van ...big blue... DAMN! quick lets get out of here!" Gatti yells.
Rollie and Gatti run out of the house just as the big blue van almost run them over.
They run to the FX van. Rollie picks up bluey and they get inside the van.
"FOLLOW THEM !" Gatti yells and Angie starts the van.
Angie drives after the big blue van.
Suddenly the big blue van drives faster. Angie puts her leg on the peddal and they start to chase it.
They are passing the cars.
"I`M GONNA GET YOU! HOLD ON!!" Angie yells and hits the gas.
Rollie flies to back of the van.
"Wow Ange... Be careful!" Rollie says and gets up.
Suddenly Rollie sees someone is taking his head out of window of the van. he draws an uzi and starts firing on the van.
"OH SHIT !" Rollie says and ducks as the bullets hit the front mirror and fly over his head.
"STAY DOWN ! ANGIE , DONT LOOSE HIM !" Gatti yells as the bullets hit the the van.
Gatti takes his head of the window and start firing on the blue van with his gun.
Then a big truck comes out of the corner. The blue van managed to pass it.
"ANGIE , HIT THE BRAKES !! " Rollie yells.
Angie hits the breaks and van slides and stops a few meters befor they hit the truck.
"DANM!! DANM!! WE LOST THEM!" Angie yells and bang her head in the stiring wheel.
"Its the second time they help him..." Gatti says in angre.
"Second time?" Rollie asks.
"Its a long story." Gatti says.

Part 9

Location : The blue van.

Johnny takes off his mask.
"Park it here in the alley ,Max."
They get into the alley and stop.
Johnny grabs Larry and they get out of the van.
"Larry , Larry , Larry, I tought I told you to dissapear."
"Well... A... Listen Johnny I was going too , but then a cop and other guy came to my door."
Johnny slaps Larry.
"Are you nuts? What if Max and I werent there to take you? then what?"
"Listen Johnny I..."
"SHUT UP LARRY ! The Boss afraids that you talk."
"You know me Johnny , You know I wont talk and..."
"I know that Larry , but the boss dosen`t trust you , that`s why he bought you a ticket out of  town for you."
"Yeah ? where is it?"
"YO MAX! Come here and give Larry his ticket."
Max comes out.
Johnny leaves Larry and walks to the van.
Max comes behind Larry.
Larry hears that someone behind him loads a gun.
"What the..." He says and turns around to Max just to see Max aiming a gun his ( Larry ) head.
"Have a nice trip..." Max says.
BOOM!
Max blows Larry`s brains out.
Larry drops to the ground.
"It`s a one way ticket." Says Max and laughs.
"Max , Lets get out of here." Johnny yells.
Max enters the van and starts to drive.
"Max, did you see the van who chased us?"
"Yeah... It has a big FX written over it. I also saw the van near Larry`s house."
"FX ha? You wanna tell me that some guy in the movie buissnes chased us? You think he has the tape?"
"I dont think so , otherwise we would have already get arrested."
"But if he finds it..." Johnny says and loads his uzi "We`ll get him out of the movie buissnes for good."
 

Part 10

Location : The work shop...

"Here`s some coffee Ange..."
Rollie gives Ange a coffee cup and pures some for himself.
"Man , what a bloody day." Rollie says and drinks the coffee.
He looks at Angie.
She is sterring at the table.
"Ange... Will get those guys , you`ll see." Rollie says.
Angie takes her look to Rollie.
"Rollie , we were this close to get them!" She says and slams the coffee cup on the table.
"Ange..."
"If that damn truck wasnt there!" She continues.
"Ange...Calm down OK?"
"Dont you tell me to calm down! Mira is probably dead right now and we didnt do anything to get those guys!"
"Angie ! we almost got killed out there when they fired at us ! we`re doing the best we can!"
"IF WE WERE DOING THE BEST WE WOULD HAVE GET THEM!" Angie yells.
"ANGIE! DONT YELL AT ME! " Rollie yells in angre and gets up...
"I WAS THERE TOO , REMEBER ?? WE WERE ALMOST GOT KILLED OUT THERE ! THE VAN IS FILLED WITH BULLET HOLES AND THOSE GUYS ALMOST MADE A SWIS CHEESE OUT OF US ! NOW CALM DOWN , BEFORE I..." Rollie yells at Angie.
Just then the telephone ring is heard.
"MAN , WHATS GOT INTO YOU ANGE..." Rollie says and walks away , leaving Angie putting her head in her hands.
"Great , just bloody great ! " Rollie says to himself.
"Bluey , speaker please."
Bluey press the speaker on the phone.
"Tylers FX work shop , Rollie`s speaking..."
"Rollie , Its Gatti...We found the guy who shot Mira..."
Angie hears that and runs near Rollie.
"Gatti , Its Angie... Are you holding him in the police station?"
"Yeah , you can say that... but he wont talk much I can tell you that."
"Why?" Rollie asks "He is not willing to talk?"
"No Rollie , He cant talk, He`s dead."
"DEAD ?!?! " Angie says.
"Yeah , someone put a bullet in his head."
"Damn!" Rollie says "Do you have more informaion about him?"
"We have his name. Its Larry Corbin. Has a record of allot of crimes but not one close to shot a cop."
"Gatti , did he have anything against Mira worth shooting her?" Angie asks.
"Not according to the information here... but you never know."
"So we can assume that someone told him or hire him to shoot Mira..." Rollie says.
"Might be... we need to check it more."
"Any leads or traces about Larry`s killer ?" Rollie asks.
"No , its was proffesional job." Gatti says.
"Ok thanks Gatti . Call us if you have more information." Rollie says.
Rollie hangs up.

"Happy now ,Ange? He`s dead." Rollie says in a cinic voice and walks away.
Angie dosent say anything.
"Lets think now Ange... Mira comes to us and asks for a camera for her case and the next day this Larry guy shoots her..."
"Well , probably she got something on the camera that can hurt someone really bad." Angie says.
"So this someone hires Larry to shoot her so that she won`t speak." Rollie continues.
"But then he wastes Larry... But why?" Angie asks.
"Probably because he saw us almost getting Larry and he didnt want him to talk." Rollie says crossing his hands.
"Not HE Rollie , They ... There were 2 men I saw there taking Larry."
Rollie is thinking for a couple of seconds.
"Wanna take a trip to Mira`s house?" Rollie says and smiles.
"Why ? You think we`ll find some leads there?"
"Probably... I cant think any other place."
"Ok... and we probably find the camera there."

 Part 11

Location : In the FX van near Mira`s house.

Rollie is about to get of the van. Angie grabs his arm.
"Rollie , we are doing breaking and entry here. We can get arrested."
"We`ll worry about that later Ange. We gotta find out why Mira was shot."
They step out of the van. The place is quite quiet.
They come near the door. Rollie is looking at it.
"Mmmm... You can forget that we can get arrested. Someone already broke in."
"Look Rollie , those footprints are still fresh... the burgler is probably still in here." Angie says and points at a mud footprints.
"Stay behind me Ange." Rollie whispers and they walk into Mira`s house slowly.
They here some noise.
"Rollie" Angie whispers "Its comming from the living room."
Rollie looks carefully into the living Room. He see there a man with ski mask and raicoat putting allot of video tapes into a big bag.
"Danm ! Ange , thats the guy who fired at us when we chased the blue van !" Rollie whispers to Angie.
"Well , lets get him!" Angie says and about to walk to the living room.
Rollie stops her.
"Wait , are you nuts ? He has an uzi."
"Hey , we are 2 and he is 1. We can take him!"
"Look at him! he`s a really big guy!"
"So what , you are a big guy."
"No No No! I`m tall but not a big guy ! This man is tall and big!"
"So stay here. I`m going in!" and she runs to the living room.
"ANGIE"
"HEY!" Angie yells.
The man spots her. He tries to reach for his uzi but Angie runs to him , jumps on his back and starts hitting him on the head.
Rollie runs to the room. The man takes out his uzi and points it to Rollie.
"ROLLIE !! HIT THE DECK!" Angie yells just as the man start firing on Rollie.
"OH SHIT!" Rollie yells and jumps behind the sofa just as the bullets hit the wall where Rollie stood.
"GET OFF ME !" the man yells and starts firing all directions , making holes in the living room.
Angie managed to tear a button out of his raincoat.
Then he managed to grab Angie and he throws her to the floor.
Angie falls on her back.
The man looks at Angie , aims the uzi to Angie and says "Say bye bye Blondi!"
Rollie gets up behind the sofa with a nightlamp and yells "YOU FORGAT ME !"
The man looks at him. Angie kicks his leg and Rollie throws the nightlamp in his face.
BOOM!
The nightlamp hits the man face and the uzi falls out of his hand.
Rollie runs to the man , jumps on him and they start to fight.
Angie grabs the uzi. She try to aim it but the man but he and Rollie are struggeling.
The man hits Rollie in the face. Rollie looks helpless.
"PUT YOUR HANDS UP BEFORE I MAKE  A FORK TABLE OUT OF YOU!" Angie yells pointing the uzi on the man`s back.
They stop fighting.
Rollie gets up slowly with blood on his face. He walks ( limps ) to Angie.
"Are you ok Rollie?" Angie asks not taking her eyes of the man.
"Yeah ... Man , that hurts..." Rollie berly says , holding his ribs.
"Get in shape Roll." Angie says to Rollie.
"OK ! Now get up !" Angie yells at the man with his hands already behind his head.
"Ok ok , dont shoot." He says and gets up.
Just then Rollie and Angie see another guy entering the living room .
"MAX , LETS GET OUT OF HERE ! THE COPS ARE COM..." He sposts them.
Angie dosent look on Max. She looks at Johnny who is also wearing a mask.
Max punches Angie and she falls. Then he gives Rollie a kick in the ... ( well , you know ) and Rollie falls to the floor near Angie.
Max grabs his uzi and his bag.
He aims the uzi at Rollie and Angie.
"Now... I`ll make a fork table out of you..." He says and pulls the trigger.

 Part 12

Location : Mira`s house.

Angie closes her eyes.
"Tick" She hears.
She opens her eyes , Not beliving that she`s alive.
"Tick , Tick" Max pulls the triger a few times.
"DANM! no more bullets !" Max yells.
"FORGET THEM NOW ! THE COPS ARE COMMING ! " Johnny yells.
"Next time." Max says and runs out of the living room.
After a few seconds Rollie hears a van driving away fast.
Rollie gets up ( berly ).
He helps Angie to get up and asks "Are you ok Ange?"
"Yeah ... Man, Are we lucky or what?"
Just then the cops enter the room pointing thier guns at Rollie and Angie.
"Put your hands up!" one of them yells.
"Nice guess mate , we`re not the guys you are looking for!" Rollie says and puts his hands up.
"Shut up!"
Then Gatti enters the room.
"Rollie , Angie? What are you doing here? " He asks and ordering the cops to put down thier guns.
Rollie and Angie put thier hands down.
"We saw someone breaking into Mira`s house... he almost killed us." Rollie says.
"Yeah I can see that... all the place is filled with bullet holes... you are lucky , very lucky." Gatti says.
"Gatti , he took Mira`s video tapes." Angie says.
"Yeah , and I bet he wasnt from the video store." Rollie says.
"What? Look, I call a medic team and we`ll talk. You look like hell."

 Part 13

Location : Mira`s house.

The medic team is taking care of Angie and Rollie.
"OUCH ! Watch out ! That`s hurts..." Angie yells.
Gatti comes and sits infront of Rollie and Angie. He is holding a video camera.
"Is this yours?" Gatti asks.
"Yeah , thanks." Rollie says and takes it.
"Are you gonna tell me why he took her video tapes? It`s not usuall you know..."
"Listen Gatti... One day before Mira was shot she came to us and told us that she work on a case where someone very important is involt and she needed a camera to record some meeting. My guess is that`s what get her shot and why the man
took the video tapes."
"But the man who shot her is dead , then who is the man who was here?" Gatti asks.
"I dont know but his name is Max. I heard the other man yells his name." Rollie says.
"Other guy? So there were 2 men here..."
"Yeah , I guess its the 2 guys I saw at Larry`s place." Angie says.
"Thats not help much... We only have first name. Did Mira said who is this important someone?" Gatti says.
"No"
"GATTI !" Someone yells.
"What is it Dan?"
"Look what we found here." Dan comes near Gatti and gives him a notebook.
Gatti looks at it.
"Hmmm... it`s Mira`s writing. What is this? 'need to meet Steve Roberts at the park at 13:00 for my case' . The date here is the one day before Mira was shot.".
"Gatti , what about finger prints?" Dan asks.
"Forget it, The guy was wearing a gloves." Angie says.
"So the only lead we have is Steve Roberts." Gatti says.
"So lets pay a visit to Mr. Roberts." Rollie says.

 Part 14

Location : Steve`s house.

Gatti and 3 cops standing near Steve`s door. Rollie and Angie are standing behind them.
"Mr. Roberts , Mr. Roberts , This the police . Open the door ." Gatti says.
Gatti Reaches his hand to knock the door. He looks and he sees the the door is already open.
"Mr. Roberts..." He yells and open the door.
He looks at the floor.
He sees a body on the floor.
"Someone put some good holes in this guy." Gatti says.
"What?" Rollie asks.
"This guy is dead." Gatti says.
"They got here before we do.  DAMN THOSE PEOPLE !" Angie says.
Gatti takes the guy`s wallet. He takes out the ID of the wallet.
"Yeap , Steve Roberts."
"Bloody hell!" Rollie says in angre.

After sometime... ( still in steve`s house )

Rollie and Angie standing near the van watching the police officers doing their work.
"Rollie , there`s goes our only lead to find out why Mira was shot." Angie says.
Rollie dosent say anything. He only looks at Angie.
Gatti comes near them.
"What did you find Gatti?" Angie asks.
"Well , There are no breaking signs , so probably the door was already open when the killer shot him."
"Or Steve probably knew the killer so he opened the door for him and them the killer shot him." Rollie says.
"Yeah it looks like it. The body was found near the door." Angie says.
"Look , maybe you two should go home and rest. You had a rough day..." Gatti says.
"Very rough day." Rollie says.
"I call you if I get more information." Gatti says.
"Ok ... Lets go Ange. There`s nothing we can do here." Rollie says.
"But Rollie..."
"No buts Ange. We`ll wait for Gatti`s call."
"Well , I guess you right."
Rollie and Angie enter the van and drive away.

Part 15

Location : The work shop.

"Ange , stop walking around. Another hour and you`ll do holes in the floor..."
"Rollie , I know there is a clue we missed..."
"What do you think it is?"
"Wait a minute ... The blue van! that`s it !" Angie says and runs to the computer.
"What?" Rollie says and runs after her.
Angie sits near the computer and loading a file.
"What is it Ange?"
"Remember when we went to the place where Larry was... The blue van was there and Bluey had it on his camera."
"So?"
"So..." She clicks on the keyboard.
She loads the part where bluey recorded the blue van.
"There it is."
Angie does zoom on the screen.
"The plate number!" Rollie says.
"Yeap its A125-09" Angie says in a smile.
"Lets call Gatti and say that he`ll check this number..." Rollie says.
Just then the telephone rings.
"Bluey Speaker please..."
Bluey press the speaker button.
"Rollie , its Gatti."
"Gatti ! Your timing is great ... Listen..."
"Wait a second. I got information about Steve Roberts. Looks like he worked for Joe Montgameri."
"Joe Montgameri? Isnt he the one who runs for the mayor`s job?" Angie asks.
"Yeah... oh ... and we tested the bullets that we found at Larry and Steve Bodies. They were fired from the same gun."
"So the same killer hit twice but who?" Rollie asks.
"Well , Get this. I checked for everyone who works for Joe. It looks like he has one man named MAX there... his bodyguard."
"How many bodyguards he has?" Angie asks.
"Two. The other one called Johnny Bando."
"You think one of them is the our killer?" Rollie asks.
"Probably , but we dont have enough prooves."
"Maybe we have enough... Gatti , we have the blue van plate number. Its A125-09."  Angie says.
"Wait I`ll check it."
After a few seconds Gatti says "Looks like the van belongs to ... Danm! to Joe Montgameri.. and he owns other cars as well."
"So now you have enough for search warrent , Right?" Angie asks.
"Yeah , I`ll get one right now..."
"Dont you have enough prooves to arrest them?" Rollie asks.
"No , all you saw is a man with a mask but we`ll see what will find in with the search warrent..."
"Gatti , I teared a button of Max raincoat." Angie says.
"A button? That could help us. You should come with us then." Gatti says.
"Thanks Gatti. Call us when you`ll get the search warrent." Angie says and walks away.
"Rollie , pick up the phone." Gatti says.
"Why? we have the speaker." Rollie says.
"Just do it!" Gatti says.
Rollie picks up the phone.
"What is it Gatti?" Rollie asks.
"I dont want Angie to hear this. I have bad news about Mira."
"What ??" Rollie says nervesly.
"Ah...Mira is... is in a coma. The doctors dont know when she`ll wake up if ever. It could be in days or years .I`m sorry Rollie."
"No... No..." Rollie says in tears.
"I just wanted you to know Rollie."
"Ok thanks Gatti. I ... I need to go now. Call us."
He hangs up.
Rollie wipes his tears off.
"Angie!" Rollie yells.
"What?" Angie asks and comes near Rollie.
Rollie hugs Angie.
"What is Rollie?" Angie asks.
"Mira ... Mira is in a coma..." Rollie says slow.
"WHAT?!!?"
"I`m sorry Ange... I ... I just got the news and I..."
"Oh god!" Angie says and start to cry "Please no! Why? Whhhy?"
Rollie hugs Angie even harder.
"Shhh... Ange... Let it out..." Rollie says calmly but he cant hold his tears as they falling out of his eyes.

 Part 16

Location : The work shop ( about half an hour later).

The phone ring is heard.
Rollie runs to the phone and picks it up.
"Gatti?"
"Yeah ... Rollie we on our way to the city hall."
"Ok thanks..."
He hangs up.
"ANGIE! Lets go!"
They get to the FX van and start driving.
After a few minutes they get to the city hall just in time to see Gatti walks in with a few cops.
"GATTI!" Angie yells.
Gatti looks at them and signal them to come.
 
Meanwhile at Joe Montagmeri office...

He and his bodyguards looking at the TV.
There are a pile of video tapes on Joe`s table.
They see the movie that Mira recorded with Rollie`s camera.
"Finally! That danm tape ... good job guys ! now get rid of it."
Max takes the tape just as Gatti and the cops enter the office. Rollie and Angie after them.
"Joe Montgameri , we have a search warrent."
"What is the meaning of this?" Joe asks angrily.
"Your van was spotted near our police station and it helped detective Sanchez killer to escape. also it was spotted near Sanchez killer house and near Sanchez house where someone broke into and stole video tapes."
"What? My blue van was stolen a few days ago!"
"Who did you know its blue?" Rollie asks.
"I have only one van! and its blue !" Joe says.
"Why didnt you report it stolen?" Gatti asks.
Joe is not answering.
"Look! There are the tapes ! and the bag I saw in Mira`s house ! that`s the bag the burgler had !" Angie says.
"What do we have here?" Rollie asks and point at 2 raincoats and 2 ski masks lying on a chair.
"Look! There is the missing button here ! the one that I tear of the raincoat at Mira`s house!" Angie says and takes out the button from her pocket.
Gatti points his gun on Max and Johnny. So does the other cops.
"You are under arrest !" Gatti yells.
"For what?" Max asks.
"Mmmm.. I dont know" Gatti says in a cinic voice "Might be for burglaring and I bet for the murder of Larry Corbin."
"And Steve Roberts." Angie continues.
Rollie comes near Max and takes the tape out of his hands.
He puts it into the VCR and press the play button.
The meeting that Mira recorded is shown on the TV.
Gatti looks on the TV.
"You need to kill the mayor... when he is dead I`ll be the mayor and you`ll get much , much more..." Gatti hears the TV.
He also see the Jones brothers on the tape.
"So, you planned to hired the Jones brothers to kill the mayor?" Gatti says.
"Thats probably the meeting that Mira wanted me to help her get on the camera." Rollie says.
"Take him too!" Gatti says to the cops.
The cops cuff the bodyguards and Joe and they taking them out.
"WAIT!" Rollie yells to them "Joe , where are they gonna kill the mayor?" He grabs Joe.
"I dont know!" Joe says.
"Where are the Jones brothers?"
"I dont know!"
"YOU SCUM!" Angie yells to Joe "BECUASE OF YOU MIRA IS IN A COMA!!"
"She shouldnt have pushed her nose to other people buissnes!" Joe says.
"What about Steve Roberts?" Rollie asks.
"He talked with that detective. Because of him this whole opreation could have gone to the drain. He had to die!"
"WHY YOU!!" Angie runs to Joe but Rollie grabs her.
"Its over Ange! They are going to jail." Rollie says as the cops taking Joe and his bodyguards out.
Gatti comes near Rollie.
"Its not over yet... "
They walk to the TV and Gatti presses the play button on the video.
"See the date here? Joe said to the Jones brothers to kill the mayor 2 days after the meeting... Its today!"
"DAMN!" Rollie says.
"We gotta save the mayor!" Angie says.
"Where is he?" Rollie asks.
"He`ll come back from his vaction with his wife." Gatti says.
"Do you know where?" Angie asks.
"Yeah , but we gotta get him before the Jones brothers." Gatti says.
"I have a plan. If will be able to get to him on time." Rollie says.

Part 17

Location : On the road.

Angie and 3 other cops are in the FX van ( behind some trees ) watching the screen.
"Rollie , I hope you know what you are doing." Angie says in the small mic.
The mayor car is driving in the road.
A big truck is comming infront and stops infront the mayor`s car.
The mayor hits the breaks and car is also stopped.
Then the Jones brothers jump of the truck dressed all in black. They take out M-16 and starts blasting the car with it.
All the blood of the mayor and his wife is splatring on the window which is full with bullet holes.
"Another job done. " one of them says.
"Yeah , lets get out of here before anyone sees us."
Then they walk to thier truck.
"DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" They hear.
They are turning around , suprised.
They see the mayor`s wife with blood on her , pointing a gun at them.
She reaches for her face and take it off.
Its Gatti.
"WHAT THE HE.." one of the Jones brother says.
Then the mayor comes out of his car , coverd with blood ,  and takes his face off too.
"Wow!" Rollie says , holding the mayor`s mask on his hand.
"I SAID THROW YOUR WEAPONS DOWN AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" Gatti yells.
"Another time cop!"
They run to their truck.
"Angie! We need you here!" Rollie says in the small mic.
Then the FX van is comming just as the Jones brothers enter the truck.
The rear doors of the FX van open and the 3 cops jump out of them and aiming their guns at the brothers.
"STEP OUT OF THE TRUCK SLOWLY WITH YOUR HANDS UP!" one of the cops yells.
"Ok ok! take it easy."
They step out of the van and the cops cuff them.
"Rollie! Why I needed to be the mayor`s wife?" Gatti asks.
"What do you want ? you lost the bet! and you look great with this dress Gatti..." Rollie says and smiles.
"Shut up Rollie!" Gatti says.
Angie comes out of the van.
"I`m glad we catched the mayor on his hotel before he got here." Angie says.
"Yeah , it gave me some time to make those masks and get the car ready with all the blood." Rollie says.
"Nothing will penetrate this window, and the blood ... Good job Rollie, now if you dont mind I need to arrest 2 killers." Gatti says.
"Go ahead..." Rollie says.
Gatti gives the mask to Rollie and walks towards the Jones brothes who are already cuffed.
Rollie looks at Angie.
"Well Ange..."
"Well Rollie..."
"What are gonna do now?" Rollie asks.
"Go home... Da!" Angie says to Rollie.
Rolllie smiles to Angie and puts his hand on Angie`s shoulder.
"You know Rollie , we got shot at , beaten up and all this for what? Mira is still in a coma." Angie says.
Rollie looks at Gatti as they put the brothers inside the police car.
"I know Ange , but dont forget that we saved lives here and made some justice."
"I just..." Angie says as she looks at police car drives away.
"Just what?" Rollie asks.
"Nothing. Lets go home Rollie."
Gatti comes near them.
"Well guys , I`m off now. Vanduran will be glad to get those guys. I`ll tell him you helped us." Gatti says.
"Thanks Gatti , And take off the dress. You like funny in it." Angie says.
Gatti smiles and walks away.
Rollie and Angie get to their van and drive away.
 
Part 18

Location : The work shop ( a week later )

Rollie is working on the computer for his next scene of his movie.
He looks at Angie. He sees her looking at the tv watching a show.
"Ange, are you ok?"
"Yes. Why are you asking?"
"Well , you havent moved a musscle in 50 minutes and you hate this show since you were a kid."
"I`m just thinking about Mira... She`s in a coma and she probably wont wake up for months."
"Or days... Ange , just be glad that she is alive. I know its hurt that she is not walking around and..."
The telephone ring is heard.
Rollie gets up and walks towards the phone.
"I know Rollie , but still..."
Rollie picks up the phone.
"Tylers FX work shop . Rollie`s speaking..."
"Gatti here."
"Gatti , what`s up?"
"Well , First of all  the mayor does a party. Its the second time the voters chose him for mayor. He wants you and Angie to be there. After all you saved him with your FX tricks."
"I dont know Gatti. Angie is pretty upset about Mira and..."
"That`s ok. Oh by the way I have news about our 2 bodyguards. we tested the gun of Max. it used for the murder of Larry Corbin and Steve Roberts. Max is going to jail for a long time and also Joe."
"What about Johnny bando?" Rollie asks.
"Well , Max sang like a bird about Johnny and Johnny is gonna join him. They will play bodyguards in jail with the Jones brothers."
"I`m glad its over. I just wish Mira..." Rollie says.
"Well , about Mira , I got some..."
Rollie hears a knock in the door.
"Wait Gatti , someone is knocking the door..."
Rollie walks to the door and opens it.
He cant belives his eyes.
"MIRA!"
Mira stands there smiling to Rollie. Gatti is near her with his cell phone.
"Suprise!" Gatti says.
"You stood there all the time and talked to your cellphone! You bloody dog!" Rollie says with a tear in his eyes.
"I`m what?!?" Gatti says.
Rollie hugs Mira.
"Ugh... Rollie , you are hugging me too hard... you`re hurting me!" Mira says.
"I dont care Mira! I`m so glad you here..." Rollie says as the tears falls out of his eyes.
Angie runs to the door.
Mira looks at her.
Angie looks at Mira for a few seconds and not saying anything.
Then Angie yells "MI...MIRA!!!" and runs to her.
Rollie moves away, letting Angie hug Mira.
"GOD MIRA!" Angie says with tears in her eyes "DONT YOU DIE ON US AGAIN... PLEASE!"
"Dont worry..." Mira says in a calm voice "I wont..."
Rollie standing near Gatti , smiling. Then he puts his arm on Gatti`s shoulder.
"Gatti , I wanna thank you... us together,  we make a hell of a team!"
 
After a few minutes...

Angie , Gatti and Mira are sitting inside the work shop.
Rollie is bringing beers.
They are all taking a beer each.
"FOR MIRA!" Angie says.
"FOR MIRA!" Rollie and Gatti say.
"So when did you woke up?" Rollie asks Mira.
"About 5 days ago... The doctors told Gatti and he decided to do a suprise for you." Mira says.
"What a bloody suprise!" Rollie says.
"How are you feeling?" Angie asks.
"I`m still pretty weak. I berly can walk. Gatti helped me to get to your door." Mira says and put her hand on Gatti shoulder.
"Mira , when the I tought your were dead  , I couldnt help myself and I..." Angie says.
"ANGIE! Dont remind her that..." Rollie says.
"Thats ok Rollie." Mira takes her look to Angie "I was dead... I saw the white light but I knew I couldnt leave friends like you.
I wanted to live and god gave me a second chance..."
"No gun can ever stop that woman." Gatti says.
Mira smiles.
Rollie drinks his beer.
"Well, us and Gatti did some pretty good work , catching the guys who did this to you ..." Rollie says.
"Waf" Bluey barks.
"Yeah , and Bluey helped too." Rollie says in a smile.
"Dont forget saving the mayor." Gatti says.
"Yeah , Gatti filled me in. Thank you guys for solving this case ... thanks Gatti." Mira says.
"What are partners for?" Gatti says and smiles.
"So what are you gonna do now , Mira?" Angie asks.
"I took some days off ... I probably to my home and rest." Mira says.
"You deserve it!" Angie says.
"By the way... next time Rollie , dont use my nightlamp as a weapon against burglers! I bought it 2 weeks ago ! it was new !" Mira says.
Rollie looks at Angie and then laughes.
"Sorry..." Rollie says in a laugh.
