Hi Frank,
Mangela showed up yesterday. He brought your "care" package for Rollie. He's curled up with his Tambo and the beanies that the girls sent - a kangaroo and koala... At least I *think* that's what that is? A koala? He had a lot of fun playing with them before he fell asleep.
Angie asked Doctor Taylor about Rollie's naps. He says that it's good for him, but he also said that it's an "escape" though. Apparently when Rollie is getting too... emotional, he's falling asleep. The good doctor assured both of us that Rollie *is* improving and will eventually stop doing it. He says it's really the best way for Rollie to find his release since he does need more rest for his body to recover.
Mangela explained about the Tambo. He said Rollie had one when he was a little boy, but it disappeared later. He's not sure why. It was a ratty little thing, missing an ear. Mrs. Taylor says it must of been "well loved". Mangela isn't real sure what happened to Rollie's original Tambo - if it was thrown away or if it was destroyed in a bush fire. Could have been either one. He also thinks that it was given to him by his mother - there we are to his mother again. I really wish I could see what was going on in Rollie's head right now. The answer is there, we just have to find enough pieces to solve it.
Oh, Rollie did a lovely sketch of Angie with his new bear friend. It's great! I never knew Rollie was such the artist.
