Mira,
That's awful! I think we agree with you. I hope Rollie is better. Damn, I feel like I'm repeating myself. What can say that can help? Just platitudes and crap!
No, I don't know how Rollie's mother died. It's not something he ever talked about. Some things, he's an open book and shares freely. Others... Bam! Closed tighter than a clam (or some of our perps). I really wish I could be there.
I know it's not much help, but we're air shipping first class the girls "get well" present to Rollie. Don't ask me, because I don't know... AGAIN. Sarah and I included a couple of items as well. It should reach Docker River soon. At least, I hope so. Tell Rollie we love him. Okay? I know you don't like sentimental mush, Mira, but he needs to hear it right now. As often as we can say it.
I say more power to Doctor Taylor. Rollie hates being in the hospital. Getting out of it would do him good. As well as getting away from.... counselors and such. I don't know if she meant well or not, but she doesn't know Rollie.
I HATE the thought of what Rollie's going through. If anyone can help him, it's Angie! I just hope she can hang in there and handle it. We're asking a lot from her.
Give Rollie and Angie our love.
Francis, Sarah, Bettye, Kelsey and Lynn
P.S.
Oh yeah, there's a card from the precinct in it as well.
