My Dearest Angie,
I'm sorry to do this to you like this and hope you will understand and perhaps, one day, forgive me. Many years ago, Manny told me about his plans for his will. If something happened to him before you were "of age" as it were, I would receive the business. This was his way of insuring I would take care of you. (As if I needed incentive for that!) He planned to change it when you were 25 so you would inherit his workshop. Well, you've been on your own for almost a year now and today is your 25th birthday. I know you have what it takes to handle the business and so I am handing it over to you now. The papers are enclosed in the rather large, overstuffed envelope you just received. You may do whatever you like with the workshop and its contents. This, of course, includes selling it, if you wish to maintain your career on the West Coast. My best wishes to you in your life and career.
Happy Birthday,
Sweetie. Your present is at the loft. I hope you like it.
Love, yours always,
Rollie
P.S. I have
removed a few items from the workshop and taken them with me. I hope you
don't mind. I don't believe I've taken anything you might need or want.
