Angie stared at the letter in her hand
that had been wrapped around an airline ticket and a ferry ride pass.
“Come out to Hope Island, girlfriend. It’ll do you a world of
good. You’ll see. “
It had come in the mail that morning, and for the life of her, Angie
couldn’t understand why someone she knew only over the Internet would be
doing this for her. Still, Callie’s offer sounded so good, and heavens
knew she had no reason to stay in New York at the moment. Ever since
Rollie had disappeared without a trace, there was really no work to be
had, at least not for Tyler FX.
“I can do my graphics from any place I set up my computer,” she thought.
“Okay, Callie Pender, you’re on.”
