FX: The Series and its characters are not mine. They belong to big shots like, Rysher, Fireworks, Winterset, etc. No profit made. Just having fun.
"Who?!" Rollie and Leo exclaimed in unison.
"Years ago, before my parents died I was just beginning to start out
as a director. It wasn't my father's goal for me to be a director and we
had a falling out. I needed money. I had a college friend who knew a man.
This man would pay me for delivering his 'merchandise' for him." Roger
started. "I didn't realize anything was wrong at first. Then I discovered
what it was I was delivering. Anything from drugs to stolen artifacts.
I was young and wanted to do anything so I could keep pursuing my career
as a director to
prove my father wrong. Then when my parents died, I was the only one
there to take care of Marie. The first thing I did was got out of delivering."
"Okay. So, we have a clue who did the kidnapping. But what does this man want?" Leo asked.
"The night my parents were killed in the train accident, I was on a delivery run. I got the call when I was on my way to drop off the package. I think it was a artifact or something. Can't remember. I never dropped it off. I can't really remember what I did with it. I think I dumped it in the trash somewhere. I have no clue why this man would want it now. Seven years later." Roger told them, shaking his head, trying to piece everything together.
"What was this man's name?"
"Um...... I think he went by 'Chief'." Roger told the detective, trying to remember. "Never really knew his name. Once I think I heard someone call him 'Adam Rawlings'."
"Okay. I'll call Francis to see if he can run the name and see what he gets." Leo replied, moving aside getting his cell phone out.
"Maybe it isn't him, Rollie. I mean why would he come back after all these years? Why now? What could've been so important that he wanted? Was it that package I never delivered?" Roger rambled on, head in hands.
"I don't know Roger. But at least we have something to go on now. It's a whole bloody better than what we had half an hour ago." Rollie replied.
"Yeah. But what if its not enough to get to Marie and Angie before who ever has them does something to them, like kill them." Roger said, scared for his sister's life.
"Don't worry, Roger, we'll find your sister and Angie before anything
like that happens. Everything's going to be just find." Rollie tried consoling
the director. He wasn't just saying that for the directors benefit. He
was just as worried they wouldn't get to Angie and Marie in time.
