Chapter Two

The next few days on the movie set passed by quickly without any flaws. Having the director's sister watching Rollie and Angie, and helping out with some of the effects, wasn't all that bad. The young girl caught on fast. And she was good with a computer. Not as good as Angie, but for a fifteen year old she knew a lot about computers.

From what Rollie and Angie could piece together, the two siblings' parents were killed in a train accident, when Marie was eight. Since Roger was over the legal age, had a steady job and a decent place to live, the state awarded him full custody of his sister. He spoiled her rotten. Giving her anything and everything. Which included all the latest computer gadgets. Of course, all this didn't seem to go to her head. Marie didn't act like everything she wanted was just going to magically appear in front of her with a snap of her fingers.

To Rollie's delight and Angie's confusion, the director left Angie alone. He didn't even come near her, unless Rollie or Marie was with her. Angie questioned her boss about it, but he just shrugged his shoulders and commented, "You should be happy about this change in his attitude. Weren't you the one who wished Mr. Benson would leave you alone?" Before Angie could say anything, he'd just smile and leave.

On the first day of shooting, the next week, Rollie was off showing one of the stunt men what he needed to do during the shoot-out scene. While Angie was showing Marie a new program she'd just gotten on the computer inside of the FX van.

"This program is so cool." Marie commented, watching in total delight as Angie showed her every detail of the computer program.

"Yep, it is." Angie told the girl. "I've been wanting it for the longest time and Rollie finally got it for me last month.  One day when I came into work, I went up to my workstation and found the program disk sitting on my chair. I asked Rollie if he got it for me and he just looked at me with this big grin and said he was getting tired of hearing me whine about not having it."

"My brother's always doing things like that for me." Marie told Angie, smiling.

"Are you two still goofing around on that silly program?" Came the familiar Aussie accent over Angie's and Marie's headset's.

"It's not a 'silly program', Rols." Angie replied in her headset.

"Yeah. Whatever. Just get back to work, will you?"

"Whatever you want boss." Angie said, turning the program off.

Marie had bite her bottom lip so she wouldn't start giggling. Working with 'Tyler FX' was more fun than she thought it would be. Angie and Rollie were always playing tricks on each other or they'd be having a funny conversation, like the one they just had. And Marie had to admit Rollie was quite a hunk.

The young girl's thoughts were interrupted by the constant barking of Bluey, Rollie's mechanical dog, from where he was sitting outside of the van.

"Marie, could you go see what Bluey's getting all fussy about?" Angie asked while she started setting something up to squirt to Rollie.

"Yeah." Marie replied, getting up from her seat next to Angie. Taking her headset off, she then walked to the back of the van.

"Hey, Bluey. What are you bar......" Her sentence was cut off by someone grabbing her from behind and a big sweaty hand covering her mouth. She struggled, but it was no use, her attacker was too big. Her world quickly went black at she drifted into unconsciousness.

Hearing Bluey's barking continue, and no longer hearing Marie talking, Angie walked out of the van. A few feet away she saw Marie's limp body being thrown into a blue dented van by a masked man.

"Hey!" Angie exclaimed. She started towards them, but the young woman was quickly grabbed from behind. Before she could try anything to get loose, she saw the glint of something shiny being stuck into her neck, then everything went black.
