Part Eight

A few days passed, without much more news on the guy who attacked Angie. They all still suspected Bryan Welsh but there wasn't any real proof. The actor had agreed to come in for more questioning and a lie detector test. He passed all of it with no trouble.

One night, in the evening Angie and Rollie went over to the set to pick up their equipment. After all the accusing they had done and were still doing the director still wanted Tyler FX to finish the movie. Rollie still said no.

They were still loading up there stuff, when Rollie got a call. Telling Angie he had to leave for a bit, and to keep loading up, he went off to his red truck and pulled away from the set, leaving Angie alone on the dark set. Driving down the block, then turning a corner, Rollie came to a stop. Getting out of the truck, Rollie made his way back towards the set. He came to a stop, across the street from the entrance of set area, and got into a black car.

"So, you think this is gonna work Rollie?" The detective inside the car asked.

"It has too." Rollie replied, making sure the mic was working. "Angie, you hear me?"

"Loud and clear, boss." Came the reply.

"You gonna be okay?" He asked, starting to get uncertain about this plan they came up with, in hopes of flushing Bryan out. Their plan was to, go pick up there stuff after the day's filming was over, making it known to the set, including Bryan. Then Rollie would get a 'call' and leave. Angie would then be alone. And hopefully Bryan would turn up. Then it was Angie's job to get him to confess to the whole thing.

"I have no choice." She answered.

Close to an hour had passed with nothing happening. Leo was just about to pull the plug in the trap, when Angie's anxious voice over the mic yelled out, "Who's there?!"

Angie spun around, looking the dim set over. She didn't see anything, but she heard something. Finally she saw a figure approaching her. She couldn't see the face good. It was too dark. "Who is it?" Still no response. As the figure came closer, Angie thought it was Bryan. Then at second glance she saw it wasn't It was Josh Norton. Bryan's stunt double. They looked amazingly alike. "Oh, hi, Josh. You scared me for a minute."

"Sorry, Angie. Didn't mean to." He replied, coming closer. "So, where's Rollie?"

"He got called away."

"Oh. Need any help?" Josh asked, smiling slightly.

"No, that's okay. Rollie will be back soon." Angie told him, trying to get him to leave. If he didn't leave it might ruin there plans of trying to get proof it was Bryan who attacked her.

"Sure? Maybe I should just stay around till he gets back. It's not safe for you to be out here alone at night in the dark." Josh insisted.

Angie stared at the man. Listening to him talk she realized he not only looked like Bryan, but he sounded like him too. Looking at Josh closely, Angie started to get a sickening feeling in the pit of her stomach. Before she knew what she was doing or saying, Angie backed away from the man and said, "It isn't Bryan who raped me. It was you!"

"Angie? What are you talking about?" Josh asked, pretending to act stunned as he moved closer to her.

Leo and Rollie became alert to the scene they were hearing being played out over Angie's mic. Not really understanding what was happening. Rollie was starting to get it. He knew who Josh Norton was. He looked and sounded just like Bryan. Maybe it was Josh, who was Angie's attacker and she had figured
it out.

"Stay away from me Josh!" Angie yelled at the man who was still walking towards her.

"You know that night was all your fault!" He replied. "You're the one how ignored me on the set. And I'm not one to be ignored! I get what I want, Angie! And that night I got it! If you had just stopped ignoring me, and showed some interest in me then maybe I wouldn't of had to force you and we both could've enjoyed that night."

Angie's eye's opened wide in terror. "So, you're saying you did rape me?"

"Yes that's what I'm saying! And I think while I'm here I'll do it again." He told her, grabbing for her wrist, as she struggled.

Rollie was out of the car and running to Angie, like a maniac, leaving Leo in the car to make a call for back up. It only took Rollie a fast two minutes to reach Angie. he tackled the guy hard to the ground. And punched him in the face. When Josh got over his shock at Rollie's sudden appearance, he punched back at Rollie. They started struggling and rolling on the ground.

Angie watched, as Rollie and her real attacker, fought. When Josh rolled on top of Rollie and was hitting he non-stop, Angie grabbed a crow bar she found sitting near by and swung it at the back of Josh's head. It hit hard and he collapsed unconscious.

"Rollie?!" Angie called out, going to his side, helping him sit up. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, just bloody fine." He replied wiping the blood from his nose with his shirt sleeve. "You okay? Did he hurt you?"

"No, he didn't hurt me. Just scared me. And I'll be just fine, now that he's caught." Angie replied, looked over to where the still  unconscious man was getting hand cuffs put on by Leo.

"Yeah, you're gonna be just fine." Rollie agreed, holding her tightly in his arms.
