Danni sat in her car, she'd seen the arrival of the two detectives as she left and wondered if they'd be pulling Rollie away on another job for them, wondering if Angela would object, now that they were  she would be even more afraid that something would happen to him.

'More like she'll want to go along' Danni said aloud, sneering at the idea of Angela tagging along like a faithful dog.

She turned off, onto a smaller street, where a  lived. She knew that Victoria would want in on this little game, another victim of Rollie Tyler. Not that they had dated, Rollie had ignored Victoria right from the start.

'So what are you here for' Angie asked Mira, looking at the detective as she pulled a long sleeved shirt on.

'We just thought that we'd drop by,' the detective replied ' Frank was telling me how worried he was about you two and for a guy he's got good instincts for people's feelings. You two had us worried.'

Angie turned to look at the detective. 'You don't have to tell me. I was worried!!! I was  and ,  that we were drifting apart. We have been friends for so long Mira, we've , , been  and . These last months have been , I don't know what I would have done if he'd left me.'

'You'd have been , it's only natural Angie,' Mira replied. 'You would have pulled yourself back together though.'

'I don't know Mira. I'm... I'm not good at the alone thing,' she admitted. 'Even when I was alone at my apartment I always had Rollie on the other end of the phone, no matter the time, or if he had to get up early, he'd stay on the line all night just talking to me.'

'And now you won't even need the phone,' Mira replied with a . 'You are so lucky Angie, I hope you know that.'

'Oh, I know it,' Angela  in reply.

'And I think Rollie is just as lucky,' Mira answered, seeing how Angela looked away as she said it added, 'and he thinks so as well.'

'You think?' Angela asked, face now serious.

'Of course Angie, he 's you, it is so obvious. It's in his  when he looks at you, in his eyes, in the way he was not embarrassed one bit when we walked in. It was like he was saying, "This is the way it's going to be from now on, better get used to it." You don't have to worry about Rollie.'

'I do though, Mira, you've seen the women he's been with before... what do I have to offer' she replied, swallowing at the end. 

'Something none of those women ever gave him. Not just your , but your ship, your trust, your warmth and strength.' Mira replied, then changed topics without a beat. 'Come on, we should go down, I just know Frank will want to grill you too,' she finished with a .
 

Mira headed for the stairs, but Angela paused a moment. Did she really worry about Rollie that way Did she think that he wouldn't be faithful It wasn't right, Rollie had always kept his promises to her, always. As she stood she realised that it wasn't Rollie, it was her, she was worried about not being good enough, not living up to his expectations. 

'There's nothing wrong with me,' she told herself.  'I  Rollie and he knows that... so why don't I feel I'm good enough for him'

'I don't know Ange... why' Rollie asked in a low voice, standing at the top of the stairs. 

Angela jumped , turning to look at her . 'I don't know,' she replied, looking into his deep brown eyes.

'Ange,' Rollie began softly, walking towards her. 'There has never been a time since I met you that you haven't been the best thing in my life, you have to know that. You trusted me, offered your friendship and we just clicked , you stole my  with your innocence.'  'So no more of this "I'm not good enough rubbish," okay'
