The Fic Hound's Rating System
- Young Children: All ages - no violence, profanity or sex. Mild
demonstrations of affection allowed.
- Pre-Teen: Some violence (mostly action), romance and mild profanity
(damn, hell, bloody), minor adult situations, no sex.
- Teen: Violence, romance, profanity, adult situations, mild, non-graphic
sex scenes, off "camera" rape, non-graphic child abuse (i.e. you know it
happens, but no details are described)
- Young Adult: Mildly graphic violence, profanity, adult situations,
mildly graphic sex (not pornographic), non-graphic rape, mildly graphic
child abuse, torture (not excessively graphic).
- Adults Only: Extremely graphic violence, excessive profanity,
explicit/graphic sexual situations, graphic rape. Not accepted by the
archive.
